Members Requested Against Police Corrupt Leaders

Deputy Chief of National Police Commissioner General Nanan Sukarna police advise against superiors who ordered the brave acts of corruption. Menurut dia, bawahan tidak boleh asal mematuhi perintah atasan yang bertentangan dengan undang-undang. Tapi, Nanan mengatakan, hal itu sangat sulit dipraktekkan. "Susahnya, takut dipecat," kata dia.

Dia mengatakan, untuk menjaga citra suatu lembaga, dibutuhkan bawahan yang berani menolak perintah atasan yang melanggar aturan. Sebaliknya, perintah yang sesuai harus ditaati.

Nanan mengatakan, terkadang ada pemimpin yang zalim karena tidak memiliki lima pilar kepemimpinan. Yaitu keteladanan; berintegritas; anti-gratifikasi; dan antikorupsi, kolusi, dan nepotisme. 

"Pemimpin harus mampu menjadi teladan agar dipatuhi bawahannya," kata Nanan.
